Halloween in July

-By Arnie Fenner

No matter who exhibits (artists, publishers, or entertainment companies), no matter what announcements are made, no matter which actors are hustled in and out of Hall H (or the equivalent in other venues), the one aspect of Comic Con—any Comic Con—that you can count on getting massive coverage in print, on TV, and online are the cosplayers. You can't avoid it—and, frankly, it takes artistic skill and imagination and it's also fun—so you might as well have a look around the web, starting at this page on the Business Insider. Or maybe at i09. Or perhaps at Neatorama. Who knows? You might get some good ideas for costuming characters for your art…
