Inktober Part 2

-By Howard Lyon

Queen of Ravens - 5"x7" Copic marker by Howard Lyon

We are half way through the month of October INKtober which means there is a ton of really great artwork out there.  I thought I would compile and share some of the highlights I have seen so far.

If you aren't following the #inktober and #inktober2015 tags on your social media of choice, you are missing out on some wonderful images. I am also struck by the diversity of the posts. I am going to try and include a wide variety here and embed their Instagram posts so that you can see more of their work if you are interested. Hopefully embedding works well for viewing.

J.A.W. Cooper

Cooper draws with an ease of line quality and a flow that always pulls me in. I love the way she draws people and animals alike.

Helen Chen Mingjue

I found Helen's work by searching through the #inktober2015 tag. I love her work. Just beautiful. Her Instagram bio says she is the art Art Director at Paramount Animation, also worked for Disney Feature Animation, Jim Henson Company, Inc. and Cinderbiter.

Jake Parker

Jake is using the month of October to reveal a new property he is developing for a graphic novel.

I don't do much fan art, but I couldn't resist a couple Miyazaki pieces for the month
